Rajasthan Royals (RR) will take on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 37th game of the IPL 2023 on Thursday (April 27) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The Royals have won four out of seven games this season and are in third place. They have lost the previous two games and will be looking to return to the winning ways. In the last game against Royal Challengers Bangalore, the Royals failed to chase down the target of 190 runs and lost the game by seven runs. Trent Boult and Sandeep Sharma picked two wickets each, while the spin duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal took one wicket each.

Chennai Super Kings have won five out of seven games this season and are placed in the first position in the points table. They are coming into this game after scoring the highest total of this season against Kolkata Knight Riders in this match. They scored 235 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs while batting first with the help of half-centuries from Devon Conway, Ajinkya Rahane, and Shivam Dube. KKR, in return, were good in patches and finished with 186 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs. CSK won the game by 49 runs.
