India Beat New Zealand to Win T20 World Cup 2026

The final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 was full of excitement as India defeated New Zealand in a dominant performance. India won the match by 96 runs and lifted their third T20 World Cup trophy, creating history in international cricket.

The match was played at the famous Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. New Zealand won the toss and decided to bowl first. However, the Indian batting lineup played fearless cricket and scored runs quickly from the start.

The star of the innings was Sanju Samson, who played an outstanding knock of 89 runs from 46 balls. His innings included several powerful sixes and boundaries. Along with him, Abhishek Sharma scored 52 runs from 21 balls, while Ishan Kishan added 54 runs from 25 balls. For New Zealand, Tim Seifert tried to fight back with 52 runs, and Mitchell Santner scored 43 runs, but the rest of the team struggled against India’s strong bowling attack.

New Zealand were finally all out for 159 runs in 19 overs, giving India a massive 96-run victory. Jasprit Bumrah was named Player of the Match for his excellent bowling performance.
