After the Sri Lanka series, team India are currently preparing for the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh which is scheduled to start from September 19 and this Test series will be the first red-ball assignment for India’s newly appointed head coach Gautam Gambhir. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will announce the India squad for the Bangladesh series on September 9.
India captain Rohit Sharma will be seen leading team India in red-ball cricket after the home series against England. As per Sparrow Sports News sources, Duleep Trophy performances in the first round aren’t expected to have a major say in the team selection for at least the Bangladesh series.
