Chandigarh’s young skating star, Janvi has created history by achieving 11 Guinness World Records. She has now become the second Indian sportsperson after cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar to have such a remarkable place in the Guinness Book. Her journey is inspiring because she achieved success without a professional coach or special training facilities. When Janvi could not find a good coach in her early days, her father took the responsibility of training her. He learned techniques and training methods by watching videos on YouTube, studied professional skating tutorials, and used that knowledge to train his daughter. Their teamwork has now become a story of determination and dedication.
Janvi started skating at a young age and quickly showed talent and passion for the sport. Her father noticed her potential and decided that lack of coaching should not stop her dreams. He began researching skating methods, professional drills, competition rules, balance techniques, and even international course layouts. They practiced daily, sometimes early in the morning and sometimes late in the evening, adjusting to available space and time. Slowly, Janvi’s technique, speed, and competitive skills improved.
As she started participating in competitions, her performance caught attention. Despite facing challenges like limited resources, tough competition, and pressure at international events, Janvi remained focused. Her confidence grew with each race, and she started setting personal milestones. Eventually, she applied for Guinness World Records and achieved one after another, breaking and creating new benchmarks with her skating performance.
Janvi’s achievements have brought pride not only to her family but also to Chandigarh and the entire country. Many young athletes and parents look up to her story as a message that passion and hard work can open doors even without big facilities. Her father’s dedication also stands as a powerful example of how guidance, discipline, and belief can shape a child’s future.
Today, Janvi is continuing her journey with new goals in mind. Her dream is to participate in global sporting events and make India proud at the highest level. She says that records are important, but the biggest goal is to inspire more children to take sports seriously and believe in themselves. Her story proves that when talent and effort come together, anything is possible.
