India Shines with 11 Medals at Australia Para-Badminton 2025

India had a fantastic performance at the Australia Para-Badminton International 2025, winning a total of 11 medals, including 8 gold and 3 silver. This strong showing once again proved India’s dominance in para-badminton at the global level.

Top Indian players Pramod Bhagat and Mansi Joshi led the way by winning two gold medals each — one in singles and one in doubles/mixed doubles events. Their performances were the highlight of the tournament.
Other Indian shuttlers like Suhas Yathiraj, Nitesh Kumar, and Parul Parmar also contributed with brilliant wins in their respective categories.

India’s total of 8 gold medals came from a combination of singles and doubles matches, showing depth across all divisions. The 3 silver medals also reflected close contests where Indian players fought hard till the end.

The Indian Para-Badminton team has been performing consistently on the international stage, and this victory will boost their confidence ahead of the upcoming World Championships. The players were praised by the Sports Ministry for making the nation proud.
