Whereas Kerala Blasters, ATK Mohun Bagan, FC Goa, Bengaluru FC and Odisha FC are the six teams still battling it out for the remaining two spots. Other than these teams, East Bengal has an outside chance of qualifying for the playoffs.
Most teams still have five matches left, but Bengaluru FC and FC Goa have only four games left including the fixture where they face each other on their final matchday. Also, Bengaluru has to play the top teams in their remaining matches, making their road to the playoffs even more difficult.
