The trio was part of the Indian team that won the T20 World Cup 2024 title in the West Indies and the USA last month. They missed the first two T20Is against Zimbabwe due to Team India’s delayed arrival from the West Indies after winning the T20 World Cup 2024 final against South Africa in Barbados on June 29.
OUT: B Sai Sudharsan, who made his T20I debut for India on Sunday (July 7) during the second T20I but didn’t get a chance to bat, will return home along with KKR pacer Harshit Rana and Punjab Kings wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma. The trio was named in the Indian squad for the first two matches only.
